Leaving Coffs Harbour travel south for 25 kms. Exit the Pacific Highway BEFORE the township of Urunga. This exit is well sign posted. Travel 14 kms due west on the Waterfall Way into Bellingen. Turn left at the intersection of Hyde Street and Church Street. Travel south on Church Street for 500m, turn left into Watson Street then right into Rawson Street (look for the blue tourist signs to Koompartoo Retreat). Go to the end of Rawson Street and look for a large Koompartoo Retreat sign. Follow the driveway up to reception.

Coming from the SOUTH

From Armidale or Dorrigo you descend the steep winding road from Dorrigo to Bellingen 29 kms. Turn right at the intersection of Hyde Street and Church Street. Travel south on Church Street for 500m, turn left into Watson Street, then right into Rawson Street (look for blue tourist signs to Koompartoo Retreat). Go to the end of Rawson Street and look for a large Koompartoo Retreat sign. Follow the driveway to reception.

Koompartoo is only a short walk to the heart of Bellingen with its cafés, clothing stores and markets (3rd Saturday of every month).
Medical care, a pharmacist, pubs (Federal Hotel, Diggers Tavern), clubs (Bellingen Golf Club) and sporting facilities are all close at hand and easily accessed from Koompartoo Retreat. Off street parking is available.
